Made during the first lockdown, The Other Room explores the relationship between time and the experience of being confined to the familiar.   Using a series of still images taken at regular intervals over a 12-hour period, the work visually collapses the passing of time from hours into minutes, while, the soundscape expands and repeats the singular moment of a suspended ‘tick-tock’ of a clock over and over again.
